This procedure is limited to the operation of the Blasting Cabinet DPB-1000 supplied by ABRASIVE ENGINEERING PTE LTD.

HEALTH AND SAFETY健康和安全
High pressure and high grit velocities occur during blasting. The following health and safety procedure must be followed.
在冲砂过程中，会产生高压和磨粒的高速飞射。以下的安全程序必须遵从。
1．
The machinery must not be operated without the use of blasting gauntlets and safety spectacles.
没有使用冲砂防护手套和安全防护镜，不得使用该冲砂机。
2.
The grit jet must not be directed at any part of the body.
身体的任何部位不得直接接触喷射的磨粒。
3.
The cabinet door must remain closed until the grit pressure has dropped.
在磨粒的压力消除前，冲砂机的门应保持关闭。
4.
The door pedal must not be pressed down when the door is open.
冲砂机的门在开启状态时，脚踏板不得被踩下。
5.
The presence of grit on the floor can present a significant slipping hazard, any
loose grit dropping onto the floor must be carefully swept up.
地上的磨粒会产生很大程度的滑倒危险，任何散落在地上磨粒必须仔细地扫掉。

PROCEDURE操作程序
The following set of instructions must be followed: 必须遵守下面的说明
Note 1:
Panels to be blasted should be free from all grease, rust or old paint to avoid contamination of the cabinet and grit.
为了不污染冲砂机和磨料，冲砂钢板上应无油、无锈和无旧油漆。
Note 2:
The use of safety equipment must be observed at all times.
Recommended items are:
Blasting gauntlets(must be used)
Safety goggles
Ear protectors
Dust mask
任何时候都要遵守对安全装备的使用。建议使用以下装备

1.
Place the panels to be blasted into the cabinet and ensure both the cabinet door are properly closed.
将钢板放置在冲砂机内,并确保冲砂机的两扇门完全地.

Switch on the main power supply located on the wall 打开墙上的主电源开关。

Turn on compressed air valve
打开空气压力伐
4.
Switch on the dust collector switch
打开灰尘收集开关.
5.
Turn on the green switch located on machine control panel.
打开控制板上的绿色开关

Set the operating air pressure gauge to the desired air pressure, recommended
operating pressure range for steel shot or grit is 20~80 PSI
设置空气表的压力，建议钢砂的操作压力在20~80 PSI。

Whilst looking through the viewing screen, place gloved hands through the
armholes taking hold of the blasting hose with one hand and positioning/steadying the panel with the other.
戴好手套，然后将手伸进袖孔，一只手抓住冲砂管，一只手固定钢板，同时眼睛盯着观看屏。

Grip the blasting nozzle firmly; depress the foot switch to activate after a few seconds abrasive flow will stabilize.
紧紧地抓住冲砂管，踩下脚踏板来运行机器，几秒后磨料喷射稳定。

Hold nozzle at a distance, which may vary from 3 to 18 inches depending on workpiece, producing the fastest cleaning action and move the jet of grit backwards and forwards across the subject in an even manner until the required profile/brightness is obtained.
10.
Continue this action until either the noise of the air escaping from the blast nozzle becomes excessively loud or the volume of grit in the blast jet becomes low. This indicates that the grit hopper is almost empty. Remove pressure from the foot pedal and wait until the blast hose stops emitting grit, this may be accompanied by a dull click as the valve on the grit hopper opens. The grip hopper will take a few moments to re-fill and this time can be used to change over or re-position panels in the cabinet.
