联众涂料网受一家大型跨国涂料企业委托，代为推荐涂料研发方面候选人作为技术储备，所有储备人员有机会到欧洲总部技术中心培训几个月，之后回来到这个公司在中国的亚太研发中心从事研发工作！

Job Purpose:
Development of differentiated value added products, product testing as per OEM specifications, product validation on production and customers’ line

External Contacts:
Suppliers, External trainers, External knowledge sources

Internal Contacts:
Unit TMs, purchase teams of all units, sBU technical and purchase teams,
other unit technical managers, AP and China CoE managers

Scope:
Specific market sectors – full product development cycle

Position Responsibilities:

lDevelop new value added products as per requirement given by marketing

lTest products as per OEM/market sector/AN specification and qualify

lMaintain records of all testings and share with units and sBU teams as instructed

lExplore new and novel raw materials for value engineering of products

lCommunicate with and draw help and assistance from sBU team

lInteract with unit TMs and other sBU technical teams on sharing knowhow and products

lOutputs/reports:

nMonthly progress report

nOther reports as and when required

Skill Requirements:

lA minimum qualification of chemistry graduate. Master’s degree is preferred.

l3-5 years experience in coating industry, preferably powder coating industry in similar role will be an additional qualification but not a must

lKnowledge of raw materials and their suppliers within China and also global

lKnowledge of RM cost and how it affects formulation costs

lKnowledge of role and responsibilities within the business

lCreative thinking ability

lNetworking within company and outside,

lAbility to work to a plan deliver results within agreed timescale

lTime Management skills,

lCommunication skill,

lKnowledge of Quality, safety and environmental management

lKnowledge of spoken and written English

lTo be prepared to be transferred anywhere in China if needed

Relevant Quantities/ KPI(e.g. volumes, budgets, headcount):

lNew products with high ASP and CM%

lProductivity (KPI)

lNew and novel RMs – usage volume and cost impact

lSale value generated with new products with specified CM% target
