PROCEDURE操作程序

Set up the BK Drying Recorder in the drying cabinet or room, which has been adjusted for the conditions of temperature and humidity desired: ensure that the needles are clean, in good condition and held tightly in their carriers. Adjust the speed control knob to set the speed of traverse to that required and return all needle carriers to the zero position.

Allow the equipment to equilibrate to the conditions before commencing the test.

Thoroughly clean and degrease a number of glass strips using a suitable solvent, e.g. xylene, and dry with clean tissue. Ensure that each test sample is properly mixed, with no sign of pigment sediment .

在着手实验前，安置设备于平衡状态。用合适的溶剂如二甲苯将玻璃条完全清洁和除油，并用清洁纸巾擦干。确保每个检测样品完全混合，无颜料沉底现象。

3.
Apply the desired wet film thickness to glass strips, using the appropriate cube applicator (and caster guide, if available). Transfer to the BK drying recorder, lower the needle(s) on to each test strip, mark the point at which the needle rests in the paint film with a permanent marker, and switch on the drying recorder。
