Job Description

Position	Business Unit
Lab Chemist	ECI2

(A)
Position Objective

To develop new technology, formulation, effect and processes to support the innovation and value creation needs of the ECI2， especially on 3C and industry coating businesses.

(B)
Main Tasks of the Position

1. Be experienced in industry coating and able to facilitate the translation and implementation of new formulations or products with various BASF Coating businesses.

2.. Analyze the issue to find the root cause then provide solution in lab and customer line in time

3. Improve current coating system to meet the customer new requests.

4. To build and maintain a level of scientific expertise within self and the team that supports business needs, including links to academia

5. Visit customer line for line trial and modifications.

Min. Requirements:

•BSc or B.Eng degree or above

•3 + Years of working experience in related area, i.e. industry coatings

•Good knowledge on coatings. Good at both written and oral English.

•Analytical thinking and problem solving

•Collaborative style with good interpersonal skills

•Results orientation

•Innovative and creative
