看了下图片很有意思,专门查找了一下,要形成该效果,需采用ALSA 公司的助剂Crystal FX,有个帖子写的操作规程如下:
1. spray base color let dry for 30 min.
2. put crystal/fx into a fine mist spray bottle spray onto dry basecoat surface. Should be very wet looking almost dripping of surface.
3. spray your contrasting color in very very light mist coats 2 to 3 coats should be fine. Let dry for 15 min.
4. Use a old t-shirt or other lint free cloth and water to wash of the color you sprayed in step 3. Let dry
5. Use prepsol to clean surface then clearcoat.
I think the reason you could not get the contrasting color off is it was sprayed on to thick and wet. But all is not lost...Just use 2500 grit wet paper and water and very lightly sand the surface the crystals will then come off. Watch your pattern and sand uniformaly. I had the same problem with the green bike but it turned out very well.
I dont think doing a panel at a time will work. Doing a whole car should be very simple. Just remember to write down the temp and humidity when you sprayed it that way if ever you need to do a repair on the car the crystal pattern will match.
For example very high humidity will produce very long lines like on the green bike. it was 81% humidity at 75 degrees when I sprayed that job. And on my bike with the small short lines it was only 33% humidity and 68 degrees. So in truth you do have control over your crystal design. Also using a womens hair dryer will produce very small swirl cyrstal patterns.

ALSA CHROME PAINT IS USED WITH THIS PRODUCT
How To Apply Crystal FX
Step 1: Prep and paint the surface with your choice of Alsa's Stylin' Basecoats or compatible brands. (This base color will become the color that shows as the lines through the crystals)
Step 2: Apply the Crystal FX in a lighter coat for small crystals and a wet or heavy coat to achieve the large crystal effect across the surface.
Step 3: Allow to dry 10-15 minutes air dry or force dry for smaller more tightly woven crystal effect.
Step 4: Now apply your contrasting color (the color that will be shown through the spaces in the crystals). Apply this coat in a light dusting action.
Note: Take care to apply only a light coat as a wet coat of paint will make it harder to remove the crystals.
Step 5: Allow this layer to fully dry (10-15 minutes).
Step 6: Using water and a rag or sponge, scrub off the crystals. This will leave you with a very pronounced crystal design.
Step 7: Allow any excess water to dry
Step 8: Apply Alsa Speed Clear or any other preferred topcoat.
