PROCEDURE操作程序

1）
Ensure that the glass panel is clean and dry: wash with a suitable solvent and wipe dry with clean tissue or lint-free cloth.
确保玻璃板清洁干燥：用适当的溶剂清洗和清洁干净的棉纸或软布擦拭。

Lay the glass panel with a sheet of tissue (“catch”) paper under the pull-off end so that excess paint can be collected on this. Ensure that the paint is at the correct temperature and thoroughly mixed immediately prior to use in order to break down any thixotropy which may have developed whilst standing undisturbed.
在玻璃板的另一头垫一张纸，这样可以把多余的油漆收集起来。确保试验时油漆温度的正确并且在测试前彻底混合同时可以用持续的搅拌来打破油漆的触变状态。

3）
Place the sag index applicator at one end of the glass panel, with a palette knife, lay down a small pool of paint just in front of it. The pool should cover the full width of the applicator blade.
把流挂测试仪放在玻璃板的一头，用调刀在流挂测试仪前面倒下一小堆油漆，这堆油漆要覆盖流挂测试仪凸出牙齿的全部宽度。

4）
Immediately draw the applicator through the wet paint with very firm downward pressure such that separate stripe of wet paint are cleanly formed. There should be sufficient paint to enable properly-form strips to be drawn down over the full length of the panel, with excess paint carried on to the tissue underneath the end.
用非常稳定的向下压力压着并立即拉动流挂测试仪，

5）
Immediately stand the panel in the constant-temperature cabinet or drying room, in a vertical position, with the strips of paint horizontal and with the thickest film at the bottom of the panel.

立即把玻璃板竖立起来放在恒温箱或干燥房间内，保持竖立状态。同时保持玻璃板上最厚的一条水平油漆带在底部。

6）
Examine the panel at intervals, depending upon drying or curing time, and note the maximum thickness at which the wet film does not show definite sagging/running or a very thick edge along the bottom of the strip. This is the safe thickness at which the product can be applied before sagging occurs. When examining the panel, depending upon the care taken when drawing down the paint, it is possible that the edges of a strip could show signs of sagging whilst the centre section does not. In this case the edges of the strip (up to 20mm from the edges of the panel) may be ignored although the observation should be recorded.
