This procedure is limited to the operation of the flash point
tester
as supplied by ERDCO Engineering Corporation .
这个操作程序仅限于ERDCO机械公司提供的闪点仪。

PROCEDURE操作程序
Reminding : the form of Hot Work Permit should be filled and get authorize of HSE manager and kindling from the company-guard .
提示： 此操作前需填写{热态作业许可证}，得有关部门认可，于门房取火种。

1.
cool the sample and syringe 5~10℃ below the estimated flash point temperature.
将样品及盛样容器冷却至低于预计闪点5~10℃。
2． Insert the thermometer carefully into the test cup.
插入温度计到试样杯。

switch instrument to “I”
开关至“I”位置。

2.
adjust temperature control
knob while depressing
,press
switch until digital meter reads a temperature
that is at least 5℃ below expect flash point temperature.
冷却试样杯，缓慢调节到预计闪点温度，并保持稳定，试样杯应干燥洁净并关闭滑板。

3.
charge with 2ml of sample .introduce the sample using the syringe.(if the sample’s viscosity is too large ,can use spoon .) then switch the timer at once.
用干燥洁净的注射器吸取2ML 试样，通过加料孔将试样快速注入，（若试样粘度大，可打开盖子。改用勺匙将试样加入试样杯内，立即合盖）。立即开动1 记时器。

4.
open the gas control valve and light pilot/test flame ,turn the gas control valve clockwise to reduce the pilot flame .adjust the flame size to match 4mm diameter gauge ring.
打开气体控制阀，点燃试验火焰，并将火焰调节成球形。

5.
when 1 min is reached, slowly and uniformly open and close the slide
completely over a period of 2.5 seconds while watching for a flash.
1MIN 后，即可认为试样已达到试验温度，打开滑板，点火，同时观察滑板从打开到关闭期间的闪火情况，其时间为2.5S。

6.
close the gas control valve, and clean the test cup and slide at once.
关闭气体控制阀,并立即清洗试样杯及盖子.

7.
report flash or no flash.
记录是否发生闪火.

Suggesting: once the sample has been used for
the flash test, new sample should be taken for next flash test.
注:
试样一旦进行过闪火试验,该试验就应结束.随后的每个试验都应采用新取的试样.
