This is Kevin, a recruiter from MRI China. I am specializing in coatings recruiting.

Currently, I am recruiting a Chemist for a family-owned US company based in Jiading District. Their products cover Liquid Coatings, Powder Coatings, Conductive Coatings, Automotive Coatings, and the Mirror Coatings.

This role is for their wheel coatings.They are fast growing in wheel coatings sector. And they are expending the technical team. They have excellent products and stable team to support China wheel business.

Wheel coatings Chemist

The role:

You will be part of our team working to support wheel coating business.
This work will include working on color matches for customers, assisting and involvement in customer line trials as well as work developing wheel coating specifically for the Chinese market.

Duties:

Work safely

·
Color match sample using a variety of metallic pigmented systems for use on automotive wheels.

·
Maintain a high level of professionalism and high work output.

·

Keep a detailed and clear lab work book.

·
Actively participate and contribute to a team developing new technologies for the Chinese automotive wheel market.

·
Where necessary participate in trials at customer sites in China.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a paint related field is essential

Minimum 4 years experience in coating lab for automotive or other high end applications is highly desired

Experience working in the automotive market, particularly supplying OEMs, is desired

Ability to write and speak English is highly desirable.
